We had a few days at Airlie beach so we did a little bit of exploring. We ended up going down to Shute Harbor and checking out the marina as well as a hike through Conway National Park.

The vegetation was impressive and gave us a chance to see some gnarly trees. We managed to see a couple of birds along with a snake that slithered ahead of us. I wasn’t quick enough with the camera to catch the wildlife but was able to snap a couple pictures of the slow moving trees.

The day made for a nice change of scenery from the beach.
