From freezy to breezy in about 10 hours. This fall break instead of chasing the northern lights we decided to simply chase light. As many have heard BBC reported Moscow got 6 minutes of sunlight in December so when choosing a place, we figured the closer to the equator the better. To further narrow it down we decided to choose an island where there wasn’t too much to see aside from beach lounging, because I am unable to not go see a UNESCO site.

We spent the week relaxing, reading and enjoying the sun. Because there are limits to my sitting around I did a little bit of scuba diving. It was good to get back into the water and take in some coral. It was one of our slower vacations but well worth it. I’m posting a few of the pictures but they don’t really do the islands justice.
