We are on the last leg of our trip. It’s amazing to think that we have been traveling for 5 weeks and have just a little over one week left. We arrived in Huaraz this morning on an overnight bus from Lima. Alex’s dad is back in the States and we have met up with some of our teacher friends from Ecuador. Diana, Eric, Wyatt, Amanda, Alex, and I leave for a 4 day trek through the Cordillera Blanca tomorrow morning. Go look it up on google images…it’s beautiful! Just coming into town on the bus was amazing as we are entirely surrounded by snow-capped mountains. We plan to take lots and lots of pictures and spend most of the middle of August posting them on here so stay tuned. In the meantime keep your fingers crossed that I don’t get a stomach bug this time around!
