On the linkbar above are my teaching portfolio site which I am working on updating, and a new curriculum site I created for my school. I don’t think anyone here is really impressed or thinks it’s useful, but I think it’s great! We have to have a linear curriculum binder which just doesn’t seem applicable to art. I created the binder to make admin. happy, but then I also made the website because I think it’s more useful. The art teacher can search for units based on the curriculum map concepts or based on the art standards and benchmarks. I included my lesson plans and the ones from the teacher before me so a lot of them are lacking pictures, but over the next year I should be able to add more and make it look a bit more fun and interesting.
I’m sure it’s not very exciting for someone who doesn’t teach art, but if you happen to have nothing else to do, check it out and let me know what you think!
Hi Caitlin,
I guess I think the most important thing about a website is its content and that is what I think you do so well. I think your writing and your images are always very interesting and well done. So I don't think you should worry about the coding aspects of website creation. Just keep on doing what you are doing.
