Sixth graders created these radial name designs. They are new to the middle school so I wanted to spend the beginning of the year getting to know them a little better. This project seemed ideal because not only could I incorporate color theory and knowledge of radial designs, but the students could incorporate personal information about themselves.
Each students needed to include their name in their design, as well as several words that either describe them or things they like.
They took forever (I only have sixth graders 40 minutes per week!!) so I’m glad they are finally finished. I’m also glad the finished products turned out so nice!
