“Osea, fue a la tienda con mis amigas!”
My sixth grade girls taught me the word “osea,” saying it in a sing-song voice and translating it as “obviously.”
I practiced a little and then went home to ask Alex about it. He clarified that “osea” is used the same way “like” is used in English. In a high-pitched valley girl style voice he recited the quoted sentence above….think a slightly more masculine version of Alicia Silversteen in the movie Clueless.
Entonces, osea, si quieres usar ese palabra, osea, se puedes!
