A few weeks ago, I was possessed by a southern side I didn’t even know I had!
Saturday morning breakfast included biscuits and gravy:

ps…now that I seem to be baking more rather than just cooking, I’m really glad to be moving to a lower altitude. I just don’t ever remember (or want to make the effort) to adjust recipes which means things like cupcakes and biscuits never really turn out quite how I imagined. These biscuits were a bit reminiscent of rocks and not at all the flaky, thick beautifulness of the recipe I followed…hence the addition of gravy.
