Mushroom Broccoli Cream Sauce

I swear I did not actually make this so close to when I made the mushroom broccoli casserole…it was separated by at least three days….
Mushrooms, broccoli, cream, parmesan, with pasta and garlic bread….mmmmmm.

I can’t remember exactly which recipe I followed for this cream sauce, but it was pretty similar to this. I sauteed mushrooms in butter with some salt and pepper until they turned brown. I then added some white wine, water and broccoli and let it simmer for awhile. Finally, I threw in some cream and seasoned with some more salt and pepper. Delicious!
