The Juxtiposition of My Life

Teaching non-elective art to high school kids is many things…entertaining, rewarding, tricky, exhausting, frustrating, amazing, etc…just to give you an idea of what a roller coaster it can be here are two student quotes from today:

In a sketchbook journal entry, ¨It is a tool for better understanding, and essential in all subjects, art is what makes us connect topics. At the end, the objective is the same: learn and in a good way.¨

A student working to answer reflection questions (late) on the symbolic map project we finished last week, ¨What is symbolism?¨
