My 10th graders read two current articles about tattoos as art and then had a choice of questions to answer…

Question: How do you view tattoos? Is this different than how your parents or grandparents view tattoos? If it is different why do you think that is?

Answer: ¨I think tattoos are a cool and awesome form of expression that is fine. My parents don’t agree, but my grandfather has one and my grandmother told me that her biggest regret is never getting one. I guess nowadays and back in the Nam War, tattoos were and are cool, but in between they weren’t.¨
