Mr. Kramer, the Industrial Arts teacher, invited us out to see his finca last weekend. His “farm” as the direct translation would be, can more accurately be thought of as “land” how we refer to it in Wisconsin. As in…..”My friends and I are going up to my uncle’s land this weekend to camp out.” The finca has lots of different types of fruit trees, beautiful scenery, a small cement building that he hopes to turn into a fun place for he and his son to stay on weekends, and the beginnings of a brand new well. The scenery was beautiful and it was nice to have a morning out of the city.
