Ahhh…sub plans! Sometimes finding a project that the students will be interested in and yet complete successfully without my presence can be a daunting task, so when Alex and I headed back to the States at the beginning of the month, I left this project for the students to do. After tracing their hand multiple times on the paper they needed to fill the newly created shapes with a variety of textures in analogous colors. Simple? Yes…but they turned out excellent and the students were still learning a few art concepts even when I was gone!
