Today is a national holiday in Honduras called Women’s Day! It is a fabulous holiday that I think should be celebrated everywhere! All the students have been wishing the female teachers, “Happy Women’s Day,” we received a gift from the superintendent, flowers from the male staff, and chocolate cake from the principal! The basic idea is just to celebrate all the hard work that women do. Maybe this could become a once per week holiday….:)

I am all about this!!!!! Please bring this back with you to the States. Of course, could you imagine the joy it would bring Bill to give us all flowers. God love him, but that might be a little too creepy for me!
