My Ceramics I students chose a song or a poem and created a face to portray an exaggerated version of the emotion it evokes.  This year my students did an especially great job of getting their emotions across!  We also had way more time for glazing/acrylic painting this year, unlike last year when we ran out of time for finishing the masks up.  Now if I can just plan enough time next year to be able to show them off in the hallway…
