My 7th and 8th graders just finished up a printmaking unit. Each student created an illuminated version of one of the letters in their name. The elaborate drawings were transferred to linoleum and the students carefully carved their designs. We did solid prints, prints where the colors gradate, and multi-color prints where they used paint brushes to target specific areas of their designs.
