Happy Pepero Day!
November 11th is a “holiday” here in Korea. Basically, a la a Hallmark holiday, everyone gives each other Pepero treats which are chocolate covered biscuit sticks. The idea is that the date 11/11 looks like four Pepero sticks. This year is especially big because it happens to be 2011.
The kids started munching on their choco-sticks during first period and have been at it ever since. My and Alex’s desks are also covered in the chocolate treats. I’m excited to have a stash to keep in my desk for the next couple weeks.
