School Open House was tonight and I was pretty nervous. Even though I was really only quickly introducing myself and the layout for my class in ten minutes, it is still so intimidating to talk to parents. I think people who aren’t teachers may assume that public speaking is something that comes naturally to us since we basically do just that all day long, but there is a huge difference between a teenager and that teenager’s parent!

Anyway, long story short, it went just fine. And, since I was at school so late, I got this amazing view out of my classroom window.
