While we were in Buenos Aires, we stayed in the Recoleta neighborhood, home to one of the most famous cementaries in the world. Right smack in the middle of the city, the walled cementary is made up of hundreds of elaborate crypts along skinny walkways, creating an almost city-like feel. We got a map and spent the better part of an hour wandering around admiring the architecture and looking for stray cats. A bit morbid, yet beautiful at the same time.
