Our house is next to a park. There are usually blinding lights on all night in the park for safety purposes (I’m assuming) and these lights shine directly into our windows. It’s not a huge deal, we’ve gotten used to it, but it does kind of mess with our view of the city at night. For some reason the lights have been off recently which made for an impressive view of Quito last week during the full moon.

On a side note…Blogger won’t let me log out of Alex’s account on his computer (where all the pictures are) so I am forced to post from his account. I hope he realizes that this post doesn’t count toward his total for the year….not that we would ever have a competition about such a silly thing! 😉
