We love Papallacta!It is about 1.5 hours from Quito by bus (6 hours hiking) and is the perfect weekend getaway.
We get a bunch of people together, rent a cabin, and then spend our time soaking in the hot springs, eating fresh lake trout, and simply relaxing.
