We Like Islands

Alex and I headed up to Belize last week to celebrate the end of the school year. We originally thought we might travel around a bit, but when it came down to it, relaxing on the beach with some snorkeling and diving thrown in, were about all we could get our lazy selves to do. We stayed on Caye Caulker the whole week…a tiny island with sand streets and no cars. I’m going to miss the Caribbean a lot next year and looking at these pictures may help you understand why…

In front of our hotel before heading off to find dinner.

A view from our table at lunch in San Pedro on Ambergris Caye.

Watching the sunset from a tiny bar on the end of the caye.

I got a little sunburned during our first snorkel trip, so this shady spot is where I spent most of my free time.

The cemetery next to our hotel. Not a bad eternal resting place if you ask me!
