Alex and I are participating in several cuchumbos this year!

A cuchumbo is a secret santa and we are each in a cuchumbo with the students at school (Alex with his homeroom and me with a sixth grade homeroom). We are in the staff cuchumbo as well.

The student whose name I drew originally wanted a hamster, but luckily his teacher required a parental note for the gift of a live animal and he has since changed his request to candy. Of course I am dying for something little and fuzzy here, but the prospect of hamster shopping over the weekend and having to deal with the furry critter was not something I was looking forward to. Not to mention imagining what all those hamsters would have had in store for them being sixth grade Christmas gifts!
