In order to tell you all some of the random things here that I never seem to write about I think I’m going to start a TidBit of the Day posting….now no promises about posting every single day, but I’ll try to do at least several per week!
Today’s tidbit:
There’s really no such thing as lanes on roads here. You kind of just drive wherever there is space for you. It is by no means unusual to pass a car or semi on a blind curve on a winding mountain road. Some streets that you would think have two lanes end up having four. Oh, and there is no left turn on green…only on green arrows…but if you are a taxi driver it is apparently alright to pull a u-turn on green in front of the line of stopped cars going left.
